Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson Announce 9/11 Benefit Comedy Show for 25th Anniversary

Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson will reunite to host a major comedy benefit in New York City marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. Organizers have scheduled the one-night event, “NYC Still Rising After 25 Years: A 9/11 Comedy Benefit,” for September 10 at Madison Square Garden, where it will raise funds for charities supporting 9/11 victims, survivors, and first responders.

Stewart continues his long-standing advocacy for first responders through the event, while Davidson brings a deeply personal connection. His father, New York City firefighter Scott Davidson, died while responding to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

For Davidson, the benefit carries profound personal meaning. His father, firefighter Scott Davidson, lost his life while responding to the World Trade Center attacks.
