Kaun Tujhe Was First Written for Arijit Singh

The biggest surprise came when Manoj revealed that Kaun Tujhe was originally a male song.

During the music sittings for M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, the song was written from MS Dhoni’s perspective. Arijit Singh was expected to sing it, while Amaal Mallik composed the music. The late Sushant Singh Rajput was playing Dhoni in the film.

That’s when Neeraj Pandey came up with a simple yet brilliant solution.

Instead of changing the lyrics, he suggested changing the perspective.

His idea was straightforward. MS Dhoni might not sing such romantic words to his girlfriend, but she could certainly sing them to him.
