The move reflects StudioCanal’s continued push into family entertainment following the success of the Paddington films. The studio previously announced plans for a Pippi Longstocking feature film and is now expanding the franchise with an animated series alongside Heyday Films.

StudioCanal has not revealed details about the voice cast, premiere date or distribution plans.
