Khloé Kardashian Shifts Focus to Her Inner Circle With New Hulu Series ‘The Girls’

Khloé Kardashian is taking a step back from the family spotlight to center her close friends in a fresh reality TV venture. The star’s new Hulu series, The Girls : A Khloé Kardashian Project, zeros in on the women in her tight-knit circle rather than the famous Kardashian-Jenner clan.

Kardashian opened up about what inspired the show, her long-standing friendships and why she thinks there’s untapped potential beyond the family-focused format of The Kardashians.

The Girls gives viewers a peek into the everyday lives of Kardashian’s inner circle as they juggle motherhood, careers, relationships and the scrutiny that comes with living in the public eye. The ensemble cast includes her longtime friends Malika Haqq and Khadijah Haqq, along with Natalie Halcro, Olivia Pierson, Yris Palmer and Nicole Williams English.

Rather than keeping the Kardashian-Jenner family front and center, the series shifts the lens to the personal worlds of the women closest to Khloé. She’s stepping into an executive producer role, giving her more control behind the scenes while staying connected to the narrative.

The reality series dives into the real-world challenges and triumphs of Kardashian’s friends from balancing kids and building businesses to working through relationship drama and friendship complications. Because these women have history spanning years, that foundation shapes the show’s dynamic, mixing genuine moments of camaraderie with honest conflicts and personal struggles.

According to Disney+, the series centers on Kardashian’s authentic inner circle, documenting how they navigate motherhood, professional ambitions, romance and the pressures of public life.

While The Girls operates in the same reality TV ecosystem as The Kardashians, it charts a noticeably different course. Hulu’s flagship series features Khloé alongside her sisters Kim and Kourtney, mom Kris Jenner and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie. The Girls, by contrast, puts Khloé’s longtime pals in the driver’s seat.

The new show essentially offers fans another window into Kardashian’s life—this time through the people who’ve stuck around outside the main family drama.

The series features Natalie Halcro, Khadijah Haqq, Malika Haqq, Yris Palmer, Olivia Pierson and Nicole Williams English, with Kardashian serving as executive producer. Bunim/Murray Productions, a Banijay Americas company, is handling production duties.

All six episodes of season one hit Hulu on August 21, 2026, with international audiences able to tune in through Disney+. The launch rounds out Hulu’s growing slate of Kardashian-related content, sitting alongside the main Kardashians series.

The new series comes as Kardashian continues expanding her reach across entertainment and business ventures. She’s recently broken into the beauty and fragrance world, with her scent collection including XO Khloé, Almost Always and XO BLUE hitting Sephora stores across the U.S. and Canada this past September through a deal with Luxe Brands.

With The Girls, Kardashian is leveraging her genuine friendships as the backbone for a fresh reality format, giving audiences a side of her world they haven’t seen before while introducing them to the women who’ve remained her closest confidants outside the main Kardashian storyline.
